By listing possible names for the State Government in 2026, the former minister stressed that Tarcisio “is not invincible”
The former Minister of the Civil House (PT) stated on Tuesday (17.jun.2025) that there must be at least 3 or 4 governing candidates “fortes” for the São Paulo government in the 2026 elections.
According to him, names such as the vice-president and minister of industry and commerce, (PSB), the Ministers of Finance, (PT), and entrepreneurship, (PSB), and former mayor of the state capital (PT) would be “Possible”.
“It has to climb those who already have a minimum electoral base of 15%, 20% of votes, especially in our leaders in Sao Paulo”, said Dirceu in an interview with the program “Studio I”, and GloboNews.
José Dirceu argued that the current governor of the state, (Republicans), is not “invincible” in the next year’s election. “It is in São Paulo that the election is decided [presidencial]”he said.
Despite listing possible names, the former PT president said the PSB intends to maintain an alliance with the president (PT) for the vice presidency.
