Continuing the implementation of Algarve’s intelligent specialization strategy for Horizon 2030, will take place on June 18, Wednesday, at 09:30, an action centered on innovation in the sector of the sea. NERA – Business Association of the Algarve Region.
This event marks the start of the first meeting of the collaborative innovation platform, promoted by, with the objective of reflecting on the major challenges and trends associated with the domain of the sea, based on endogenous resources and skills installed in the Algarve region.
On the part, a session included in the Inova Algarve 3.0 project will be boosted, designed to identify training needs and to signal concrete projects to be developed in the near future, in articulation with companies and other entities in the region.
“The common goal is to bring together entities and companies interested in launching and participating in innovation challenges in the sea economy sector, starting the bases of future collaborative actions, conducting integrated projects with national or community funding,” explains CCDR Algarve.
The initiative aims to strengthen collaborative networks, enhance the sustainable development of the sea as a regional economic engine and position the Algarve as a blue innovation territory, aligned with the great designs of climate and digital transition.
