Defense of the former president raises the suspicion that Cid used a false profile to leak information from his statements from the denunciation

The defense of the former president filed a request in the Supreme Federal Court (STF) on Monday (16), to annul the award-winning denunciation of action that investigates the attempted coup d’état, under the report of the minister. The lawyers claim that Cid lied in a statement to the court and violated the confidentiality of the collaboration agreement, citing as proof a series of messages revealed by Veja magazine.

If the annulment of the denunciation is not immediately welcomed, the defense has asked the Instagram, responsible for Instagram, to provide detailed data from the “Gabrielar702” account – a profile that, according to the lawyers, would have been used by CID to send messages with confidential information from the collaboration, as reported last week. The required data include IP records, geographical location, device history and the full content of the messages.

The lawyers also requested that the deadline for the presentation of new steps by Bolsonaro is reopened only after the manifestation of the Attorney General’s Office (PGR), of the ICD itself and, later, after the response of the goal to requests for information. The defense also reiterated a request previously made: full access to evidence obtained in telematic confidentiality breaks carried out in previous investigation stages, including cloud -stored data and digital communications of the investigated.

Mauro Cid’s lawyers asked Moraes to open an investigation to investigate who is the real owner of the profiles. In the decision, the STF minister also cites the arguments made by the defense of the military who is a whistleblower in the proceedings for attempted coup against Bolsonaro and another 33 defendants.

Therefore, it is, without a doubt, a grotesque falsehood and produced to prove in criminal proceedings, subject, in theory, the sanctions provided for in article 347 of the Penal Code, ”wrote the defense of Mauro Cid. The article deals with the crime of procedural falsity. Bolsonaro.
