O was the third Brazilian to debut in, played on Monday (17), and started on the right foot, with a 2-0 win over the Hopefrom Tunisia. The teams are from group D. squandering a beautiful football, the red-black took the lead of the group, in front of Chelsea for the number of yellow cards-the flamenco players had one, while the English received three. Flamengo faces, in the second round, the most difficult opponent of the group. The Rio team faces Chelsea, on Friday, at 15h (Brasília), again at Lincoln Financial Field. The Sperance plays on the same day against La FC, but at 7 pm at Geodis Park in Nashville, Tennessee.

Arrascaeta opened the scoring after a overwhelming start of Flamengo the team went to the break with large game volume and two good chances, but still with minimal advantage. The second half kept improvement of the Tunisians, slaughtered by a great goal from Luiz Araújo. Jorginho was important in both moves, just in his debut with the red-black shirt. Filipe Luís’s team has not changed from the one that Brazilians already know. Jorginho, a newcomer to the Rio team, has appeared ‘Azeado’ in midfield, as if playing for months with Arrascaeta and Gerson. The goal that opened the scoring was the result of this rapport, with a beautiful exchange of passes. The Italian found the Uruguayan among the defensive lines of the Sperance. Shirt 10 opened for the varela compatriot on the right. The defender crossed looking for Luiz Araújo, who leaned against Arrascaeta, again, finish. It was the Flamenguista credential at the World Cup: a cosmopolitan goal with a Brazilian soccer face.

The Sperance arrived close to the Flemish area at the beginning of the second stage. The Tunisians grew, but they needed clear chances. Belaili, on the left, was the one who found spaces, especially in the back of the varela. The tranquility came again with the participation of Jorginho, who passed to Luiz Araújo. The striker, in the beak of the area, turned and hit placed to enlarge. The Gol withered the Tunisian team, which took time to recover vigor to press Flamengo. The presence of the Sperence in the attacking field opened spaces for flamenco counterattacks, but it was the alternative that was left to the team in the face of the disadvantage.
