Gaza exceeds 400 dead at humanitarian aid delivery points

At least 45 Palestinians died and hundreds were injured this Tuesday early morning in the vicinity of a Jan Yunis (southern Gaza), which raises more than 400 killed in similar events since this distribution system began at the end of May, according to the Gazatí Ministry of Health.

The victims were transferred to the Southern Hospital of Al Nasser, which, according to the health authorities of the enclave, controlled by the government of the militant group, is “severely congested” before the massive arrival of dead and injured. The Israeli army did not comment on the incident.

Since the end of May, when it began operating in Gaza La, an initiative backed by Israel and the United States to distribute foods in a limited way in designated areas, repeated mortal episodes have registered near these points.

Therefore, UN Agencies and other humanitarian organizations already describe this mechanism as “a deadly trap” for a hungry civilian population and ask Israel to open the input crossings to Gaza and allow mass entry of help.

The Israeli forces, meanwhile, have several times confirmed to have taken “warning” against Gazatis after they allegedly moved away from the routes established to reach the delivery centers.
