Israel wages a war without a political plan

Once again, Israel manages to impress the world with military successes with which it defeats far larger enemy states on the ground or in the air. That was the case in the 1948 Independence War, as was in the 1967 War of Six Day and last year in the wave of the exploding pager against the Shiite Hisbollah in Lebanon.
