Lawyer Eduardo Kuntz, who defends Colonel Marcelo Câmara, one of the defendants in the lawsuit investigating the attempted coup, informed the Supreme Court (STF) that he upheld conversations with Lieutenant Colonel Mauro Cid in the early months of 2024. The messages were exchanged while Cid was prohibited from using social networks, according to the precautionary measure in force at the time and requirement of the report agreement.
The revelation was attached to the process in the form of a 51 -page notary minutes, which contains screenshots of conversations between Kuntz and the @Gabrielar702 profile – allegedly used by CID – between January 29 and March 13 this year.
Submission of messages to court occurs days after the magazine LOOK Disseminate similar excerpts, but whose truth is contested by the defense of CID, which denies having used social networks in the period.

Criticism of the PF and accusations of manipulation in the testimonies
In the messages delivered by Kuntz, Cid states that the delegate Fabio Shoor of the Federal Police, would have tried to induce him to associate his statements with the idea of a blow. “Several times they wanted to put words in my mouth… and I asked to change,” the whistleblower would have written. “They all the time wanted to play to the side of the blow,” he adds.
Marcelo Câmara’s defense claims that the conversations prove “lack of voluntarity” by Cid, which, in the lawyers’ view, makes the collaboration agreement signed with the PF invalid. “The ill -fated collaboration agreement signed with TC Cid cannot and should not prosper,” argues the petition.
Attempt to nullify the denunciation echoes between defendants
The excerpts from cid and Kuntz conversations began to support requests for annulment of the denunciation by the defenses of Jair Bolsonaro and Walter Braga Netto, both defendants in the process of the coup plan. The central argument is that the denunciation would have been forced or conducted under pressure, violating the institute’s legal principles.

Cid disconcerted about STF profile
During his Supreme interrogation last week, Mauro Cid denied having used fake or third party profiles to communicate on social networks. Asked by Celso Vilardi, Bolsonaro’s lawyer, about the profile @gabrielar702, the former ordinant of orders said, “This profile, I don’t know if it’s my wife.”
Cid stressed that all his cell phones were seized and did not access networks during the restrictive period. The negative, however, contrasts with the evidence presented by Kuntz in the minutes delivered to the court.
Criticism of STF ministers
In excerpts from registered conversations, Mauro Cid also comments on the performance of ministers of the Supreme. It refers to Alexandre de Moraes as “The Attack Dog” and Luis Roberto Barroso as “The Thinking Enlightenment.”

According to Cid, “who executes is the AM, as a CEO of a company.” He also quotes Gilmar Mendes as the “articulator who puts everyone on the axis.”
Messages also include criticism of the delegate Fabio Shoor, called by Cid as a “carreirist” and “smart”, alleging that he would have received a “ultimate goal” and would only be “filling gaps”.
