Pre-candidate for the president of Colombia was shot during a political act; underwent 3rd surgery after intracerebral hemorrhage

In an X (ex-tweetter) publication, the Santa Fe de Bogotá Foundation, where the operation was carried out, said the state of the politician is “Extremely critical”characterized by “Persistent cerebral edema and intracerebral bleeding of difficult control”.
“From the foregoing, the patient’s state is very serious, its continuous monitoring will continue with reserved prognosis”said the statement. This is a (PDF – 432 kb in Spanish). Earlier, Uribe’s family had said he had only one “Small bleeding”.
According to the hospital, the 2nd surgery produced a bleeding that “Needed” be treated in a new operation.
