The Acre Military Police, through the 6th Battalion, carried out Operation Total Saturation in Cruzeiro do Sul last Saturday. The action mobilized several PM units focused on repression of criminal organizations and reinforcing the sense of security for the population.
According to Captain Thales Campos, who participated in the operation, the mobilization was based on data from criminal analysis and police intelligence, which identified the neighborhoods with the highest presence of criminal activities. From this, strategic incursions were made in the areas of greater vulnerability.

“The operation had as its main objective the confrontation of criminal organizations. We operated in the neighborhoods with higher incidence, with the support of the specialized policing company, RPS and events of care, bringing greater perception of security to the population of the Juruá Valley,” said the captain.
The action was attended by specialized units such as Rotam, Kennel, Giro and GOE, as well as radiopatrulhas (RPS) that reinforced the care of occurrences during the weekend.

The specialized policing company plays a key role in this type of operation, acting directly on the most critical points of the city and in greater occurrences. “We work more incisively in combating organized crime, directing policing based on data and intelligence, which allows a more effective action against illicit,” explained Thales Campos.
The Military Police reported that operations such as total saturation will continue to be carried out as part of the 6th Battalion strategic planning in combating crime in the region.
“Suppression continues. This is only one of several actions that are being taken to ensure peace and security for the population,” said the captain.
