Russian walk against kyiv: 14 dead and 55 wounded after nine hours of siege

At least 14 people died on Monday night in kyiv in another massive russian attack against the Ukrainian capital, as reported in his Telegram channel the head of the capital administration, Timur Tkachenko.

The figure has also been confirmed by Interior Minister Igor Klimenko, who has reported damage to several residential buildings, educational centers and critical infrastructure. During the attack, which lasted almost nine hours, Moscow’s forces launched a large number of kamikaze drones, as well as cruise and ballistic missiles against the capital of Ukraine.

According to Klimenko, Russia attacked up to 27 different places in the Ukrainian capital, where explosions and shots of anti -aircraft defenses were heard during much of the morning.

Among the deceased there is a citizen of 62 -year -old American nationality and local authorities claim that there are also 55 people injured, 30 of them hospitalized.

The Solomianski district has been the most affected by the attack of the Russian Armed Forces, where rescue teams continue to work to remove the debris, hours after the first notices, which took place last Monday. “The entrance to a residential building was destroyed. Emergency services continue to work on the land and in several other districts of the capital,” said the mayor of kyiv. It is feared that people are under the rubble.

Russia also attacked the city of Odesa last night, in southern Ukraine, where regional authorities have reported 13 injured as a result of the attack.

Russian attacks against Ukraine have intensified in May and June, and Moscow has launched several unprecedented massive attacks against kyiv and other cities.
