The G7 summit in Canada brought sharp opinions on the Iran-Israeli conflict. Leaders appeal to tension de -escalation and reject any nuclear Iran.

The leaders of the G7 group at the Canada summit on Tuesday issued a joint statement in which they called on the de-escalation of the Iranian-Israeli conflict and stressed that Israel had the right to self-defense. TASR informs according to AFP.

“We confirm that Israel has the right to defend ourselves. We have strongly said that Iran can never have a nuclear weapon. Iran has described the highest G7 representatives as “the main source of regional instability and terror”.

Trump supported the statement

US President Donald Trump also signed the statement. Reuters previously reported that it would not do so.
