Prime Minister Robert Fico (Smer-SD) believes that the National Council (NR) of the Slovak Republic will approve an amendment to the Constitution of the Slovak Republic in September. He recalled that Parliament approved the necessary number of amendments filed for the government amendment on Tuesday. The amendment as a whole is to be voted in autumn.

He noted again that He knows only two genders, both man and woman and marriage as a unique union of man and woman. This is what the amendment to the Constitution of the Slovak Republic is about. “There is a real constitutional majority that can strengthen the traditional understanding of the family and a healthy view of the existence of two sexes in September,” Fico said.
