It was actually only a formal act: On Monday evening, the vote of the SPÖ Upper Austria came to an end through its future chairman. The members chose him directly with more than 95 percent of the votes. The turnout was more than 41 percent. The minimum participation of more than 15 percent of the approximately 20,000 SPÖ members was exceeded. Martin Winkler is therefore the new chairman of the SPÖ Upper Austria.
