Former French Prime Minister François Fillon was finally found guilty in the case of his wife’s virtual jobs of Penelope.
His sentence was reduced to four years in prison with suspension, a fine of 375,000 euros and a 5 -year deprivation of his political rights following the conclusion of the third trial set by the Court of Appeal.
On May 22, 2022, François Fillon, 71, was found guilty and sentenced to one -year prison, a fine of the same height and a 10 -year deprivation of civil rights.
Subsequently, the Court of Appeal has partially appealed this court ruling, in particular that the imposition of a prison sentence was not sufficiently justified.
