WiderPorty -managed shopping centers, including Tavira Plaza, were distinguished with the Bronze Medal in the Solal Marketing Awards, thanks to the project “Go Green Shopping Sustainable”. The awards took place this Tuesday in Warsaw, Poland, during the marketing and gala conference promoted by this international initiative.
In the category of “Corporate Social Responsibility” (Corporate Social Responsibility), the jury recognized the merit of the La Vie Caldas da Rainha, La Vie Guarda and Tavira Plaza centers, which annually integrate a set of sustainable actions bringing together partners and local entities. The project stands out for its continuous promotion of best Practices (Environmental, Social and Governance) within and outside the shopping centers, reinforcing the positive impact on the community where they are inserted.
The program “Go Green Shopping Sustainable” was launched in 2021 in commercial centers under WiderProperty management and has been consolidating as a reference in environmental and social responsibility through awareness campaigns, green initiatives and community involvement projects.
Solal Marketing Awards are one of the most prestigious international distinctions in the retail sector, recognizing the most innovative, creative and effective campaigns developed by shopping centers across Europe. The jury of the 2025 edition consisted of 22 senior experts from countries such as Canada, South Africa and several European nations and evaluated more than 100 applications submitted to the competition.
With this distinction, Tavira Plaza has reinforced its position as an agent of positive change in the Algarve territory, demonstrating that sustainability can and should be a strategic priority also in the trade and leisure sector.
The shopping center has a wide range of fashion, technology, restoration and services stores, adapted to respond to the needs and preferences of local customers and tourists.
With the opening of the normal store, KFC and Pizza Hut, Tavira Plaza reinforces its diversification strategy, offering a modern and accessible shopping experience.
