JD Vance, vice president of the United States, said “Iran cannot have a nuclear weapon,” during speaking reporters after a lunch at the US capitol with republican senators on Tuesday (17).
Questioned by CNN If President Donald Trump is close to taking offensive action against Iran, Vance replied:
“I think the president is making it clear to the American people and the whole world that his policy is that it is that they are not allowed to have in their country.”
Vance added that there are “many different options available to the president on how to achieve the final political goal.”
He pointed out that the US government is “trying to explain why it matters to the American people, why it matters to the president of the United States, and we will continue to do it.”
