The STF minister also endorsed the interruption between the former minister and former army chief Marco Antônio Freire Gomes, scheduled to take place on the same day, and denied a request for annulment of the ICD report on the grounds that the request should not be made at the current phase of the process.
Freire Gomes asked Moraes to be permitted to participate in online caressing, as it was in Fortaleza, but there has been no response.

In the case of Torres and Freire Gomes, the contestation is about the alleged participation of the former Justice Minister in coup meetings at the Dawn Palace at the end of 2022.
The session in which the testimonials will be confronted will be chaired by Alexandre de Moraes. The hearing will be closed to the press, without transmission, and will only be attended by the STF minister, the defendants and witnesses listed and his lawyers.
Acareration is used in lawsuits to confront people who have made divergent statements about the same facts. In this case, the two defendants should be in the same room to discuss the differences in versions.
In Tuesday’s decision, Moraes pointed out that defendants in criminal proceedings have no obligation to speak the truth. They can even be silent – Cid -except for signed award -winning collaboration agreement, and the witnesses listed.

Marcelo Câmara, defended by Kuntz, is a defendant in the Supreme in the case of the coup plot, accused of monitoring the location of Minister Alexandre de Moraes, the main target of Bolsonarist and Military groups to enable the coup d’état, according to PGR.
In testimony to the Supreme Court, Cid denied that he had used his wife’s account to speak with targets of the denunciation.
