Rio Grande do Sul should have the next Wednesday of “Lots of Rain”, with risks of storms and accumulated that can exceed 100 millimeters, according to Climatempo.
The forecast is due to the moisture of the northern range of Brazil, driven by low pressure in Paraguay, which receives a reinforcement of the cold front in the ocean, intensifying the rains, which should be accompanied by rays, as well as hail and gust fall.
In the central region of the state, in addition to Serra Gaucha and Porto Alegre Metropolitan Region, there is a forecast of thunderstorms and bulky rain.
Already in other points, such as in the north and west of the metropolitan region of Porto Alegre, such as São Leopoldo, Novo Hamburgo, among others, the risk for storms is extreme.
In the rest of the state, as in the west, south and extreme north, rain should arrive in the form of blows.
Due to the forecasts, the State Civil Defense issued an alert, which will be valid until Thursday (19).
