Registration is open for the Santander Code Girls program, initiative of Santander and F1RST Technology Company of the group in partnership with Amazon Web Services (AWS). The program offers 5,000 free scholarships exclusive to women interested in entering or specializing in the technology area, focusing on cloud and devop computing. The learning trail is 100% online, offered by the Dio Dio (Digital Innovation One) platform, and is available until the day (3) of August, without requirement of prior knowledge or bond with the bank.

During Bootcamp, participants will learn from the fundamentals of cloud computing to advanced practices with tools such as AWS Lambda, kubernetes and automation and monitoring systems. The content prepares the students for the official AWS Cloud Practitioner certification, and the 250 best participants will receive full vouchers to perform the test. In addition, the best performance graduates will be able to apply for vacancies as a technology analyst at F1RST, in São Paulo company that has hired more than 40 professionals through previous editions of the program.
Code Girls reaches its 3rd edition, with over 14,000 women impacted so far. The goal is to reduce gender inequality in a sector that still records low female representativeness less than 20%, according to the survey “Women in IT 2023”. For organizers, the project not only promotes diversity, but also enables participants to meet the growing demand for qualified technology professionals.
