Sobrinho of Iran leader defends fall of the Iranian regime to reach regional peace

Mahmoud Moradkhani, nephew of Iran’s supreme leader, Ali Khamenei, defends the fall of the Iranian regime, considering it essential for peace in the region and for the freedom of the Iranian people. Exiled in France, he believes that if the regime resists Israeli attacks, this will result in even more severe repression within the country.

“The change of regime in Iran is essential – both for the Iranian people and the world. The threat that this regime represents is well known,” says Mahmoud Moradkhani.

Ali Khamenei’s nephew believes that if the regime resist pressure of Israelite attacks, this will eventually result in “Even more severe repression for the Iranian people”. If the regime falls, it says it will be easier to achieve peace in the regionespecially with regard to the Palestinian issue.

“Palestinians need to understand that the Iranian regime has used their cause as a pretext. They have never done anything concrete in their favor,” he argues.

Mahmoud Moradkhani aalso the Iranian regime of “sabotage opportunities and important agreements”namely with the former Palestinian leader Yasser Arafatwho died on November 11, 2004.
