The rock band Mantra of the Cosmos, led by drummer Zak Starkey, son of Ringo Starr, featured special guests in a new song. Sean Ono Lennon and James McCartney – Sons of E – were invited to share vocals in the range Rip Off. Starkey published an excerpt from the project on social networks, with references to the Beatles, but denied the British newspaper The Telegraph that the collaboration was an attempt to sound like the English band. “It’s like Mantra of the Cosmos with them. It’s Sean of the Cosmos and James of the Cosmos, it’s still my band,” he said.

Starkey also talked about the fact that George Harrison’s son Dhani Harrison did not participate in the project. “No, I don’t need to. Why do I need?” He said. The drummer recently also stamped headlines around the world because of his controversial shutdown from The Who, with whom he had played since 1996.
