Cucumbers are plants that require regular feeding with nutrients. Only then can they spend abundant and prosperous crops. In the meadow we can often see the goutworm. It is also a plant known as a goat foot, which is a common species found throughout Poland. Despite the fact that in the gardens it is a specimen that we usually get rid of, because it rapidly grows, it is appreciated in herbal medicine.

This is due to the fact that the paddle has many valuable nutrients. What’s more, It is a plant that can also be a source of important ingredients for other specimensSo it’s worth using it as a fertilizer in the garden. It contains, among others nitrogen, potassium, magnesium, iron, zinc, calcium, manganese, boron and valuable vitamins. These are ingredients that will be especially useful.

However, before we prepare a fertilizer from the goutworm, we need to know how to recognize it. This plants should be sought in thickets or ditches or in semi -shaded corners. This specimen usually is from 30 to 100 cm in height and is distinguished by triangular stems in cross -section, which grow from a strong rhizome and are unborn.

It’s best not to delay preparing this own conditioner, Because summer is the best time for this procedure, because the goutopin contains the largest amounts of potassium during floweringthat is right now.

If you want to prepare a manure, you should Put 1 kg of the paddler into the bucket and pour 10 liters of water. We leave the container in the shade for about two weeks. Remember, however, that when there is a high temperature, fermentation occurs much faster. During this time, you should take care of daily mixing of slurry.

When it stops foaming, we strain it and dilute it in a 1:10 ratio with water. Plant residues can be thrown into the compost. We water our cucumbers every two weeks with a slurry prepared in this way. Thanks to this we will have abundant crops.
