The data is a survey by Brazil in Maps, which used information from the 2022 Regional Accounts System of the Brazilian Institute of Geography and Statistics (IBGE), adjusted by the average national and state growth rates in the years 2022 and 2023, and based on the third quarter performance of 2024.
The value puts the state among those with the lowest economic contribution to the country’s total, which exceeded R $ 11 trillion this year. Still, the presence of all federative units was considered decisive for Brazil to maintain among the ten largest economies in the world.

Acre is part of the northern region, which had the lowest economic volume in the country in 2024, with R $ 640 billion in total, not reaching the sum even at least $ 1 trillion. The amount is mainly pulled by Pará (R $ 245 billion) and Amazonas (R $ 170 billion), while Acre, Roraima and Amapá have the smallest sums among Brazilian states.
By comparison, the Southeast region leads with R $ 5.90 trillion, followed by the south (R $ 1.8 trillion), northeast (R $ 1.545 trillion) and Midwest (R $ 1.230 trillion).
