On Thursday afternoon, a rocket was near the building of the European Union (EU) delegation in Tel Aviv, Israel. Nobody hurt in the incident and all its employees are safewrites TASR according to the Euronews report.
The origin of the rocket was not immediately obviousbut it is assumed that it was burned from Iran. The delegation building is from the point of impact a distance of approximately 400 to 500 meters. There are several embassies in this Telaviv district, such as the United Kingdom, Austria, the Netherlands and Belgium.
The incident occurred only the day before EU head chief Kaja Kallas is supposed to travel to the Swiss Geneva for negotiations with Iran’s representatives. Kallas has repeatedly called on Israel and Iran to maintain “maximum restraint” and seek a diplomatic conflict settlement.
