The Israeli military operation in the Gaza Strip has already caused the destruction of almost all territory infrastructures and the forced displacement of hundreds of thousands of people.
At least eight inhabitants of Gaza died and more than 60 were injured today, while waiting for the delivery of food in the Wadi Gaza area, in the center of reported Efe, citing medical sources in the enclave.
The victims, who were waiting for food on Rua Salah Al-Din, southern Wadi Gaza’s area, were transported to Al Awda Hospital, according to the same sources.
Palestinian news agency Wafa also reported that Israelite military vehicles and drones attacked Palestinian citizens waiting to receive humanitarian aid this morning and added that the Israeli forces made villages in the north and the city of Gaza, causing at least three dead, which were taken to the Bautista Hospital.
However, the director of the maternity and pediatric wing of the Naser de Khan Yunis Hospital in southern Enclave warned that premature babies in the track can start dying within 48 hours for lack of a form of food.
The warning was made through a video shared by the Ministry of Health of Gaza.
The ministry assured that the number of dead due to the Israeli offensive that began in October 2023 ascends to 55,637 and that 129,880 people were injured.
These numbers have to add still missing people and thousands that are estimated to have died from disease or lack of resources and medical care during the war.
