President Luiz Inacio Lula da Silva said he has three programs to announce in June, according to an interview with rapper Mano Brown published by the Spotify streaming service on Thursday.
“I have three programs to advertise this month: a credit reform credit program,… credit line to finance electric motorcycles for food delivery and we will announce cooking gas in the basic basket for poorest people in this country,” the president said in an interview more than two hours long. According to the president, the kitchen gas leaves Petrobras at R $ 37 and reaches consumers at R $ 130-R $ 140 o cylinder 13 pounds.
“We are finding a way to make these poorest people, around 17 million, 18 million families, receive this gas for free,” Lula said in the podcast “Mano to Mano”, without giving details about the resources involved in these programs.

“That’s what I want to do, this year,” said Lula. “When these things are working, this year, I honestly think we’ll be with the people at the debal point so as not to have more setback in this country,” he added.
Foz do Amazonas
The president also made a blunt defense of the anecesses of Brazil exploit oil in the so -called margemequatorial in the Amazon, something that has worried environmentalists who cite the risks of oil leakage and environmental damage.
“We cannot give up this wealth. What we can make is the commitment that nothing will be made that can cause any damage to the environment,” said Lula.

“Brazil will not fail to explore… We need oil for a lot and especially to export so that Brazil can make its energy transition,” said Lula.
Ibama approved on May 19 plan presented by Petrobras for surveys and animal rescue simulation in the Foz do Amazonas basin, ultimately before the state -owned company obtained a license to explore the region, considered a new oil border.

The Foz do Amazonas Basin, on the equatorial margin, shares geology with neighboring Guyana, where Exxon Mobilestá exploring huge oil fields.
