The city of São Paulo receives this Thursday (19), when the holiday of Corpus Christi, the 33rd March for Jesus. With shows by 21 artists, the event is composed of the Christian music trios and the traditional 3.5 km walk, which leaves Luz Station, in the center of the capital, at 10am, towards Heroes of the Brazilian Expeditionary Force, near Campo de Mars, in the North Zone.
By contact of the event, traffic and public transportation in the state capital will have changes.
The Traffic Engineering Company (CET) will monitor traffic in the regions of Luz and Santana, from 21h00 from Wednesday (18) to 01h00 Friday (20) to hold the event. No. See below the programming.
Traffic Changes
A It leaves Luz Station, in the center of the capital towards Heroes of the Brazilian Expeditionary Force, in the North Zone. The structuring of sound cars used at the event will be made in Praça da Luz, with the public conciption from 7am on Tiradentes Avenue, height of Rua dos Bandeirantes.
After the concentration, the event runs through Tiradentes Avenue, on the airport runway, and Santos Dumont Avenue, in both directions, between 10am and 14h. The closing with evangelical shows will be done at Praça Heroes of the Brazilian Expeditionary Force, between 11h and 22h.
Because of this, the northern leisure bike lazer will not be activated on the stretch of Santos Dumont avenues, General Pedro Leon Schneider and part of General Ataliba Leonel, in the stretch between Dr. Zuquim streets and Volunteers of the Fatherland. The return will be at the intersection of Avenida Gen. Ataliba Leonel x Dr. Zuquim Street.

The landing of charters should be held on the streets 25 de Janeiro, Mauá and Florencio de Abreu and will not be held on the avenues Tiradentes and Santos Dumont or Marginal Tietê. The vehicles will be subject to inspection.
CET says it will monitor interdictions and guide traffic in the region, aiming to maintain the flow conditions and preserve the safety of road users.
Special operation in public transportation
To serve the public of the 33rd March for Jesus on Thursday (19), SPTrans and the Urban Mobility and Transportation Secretariat prepared a special operation from 7am to 10pm.
In addition to 16 bus lines that will serve in the Tiradentes and Santos Dumont avenues, in the North Zone, there will be a special line of Atera+. Eight service vans will be transported free of people with reduced mobility between Portuguese-Tietê do Metro station and Heroes Square of the Brazilian Expeditionary Force (FEB), from 9am to 11pm, with matches according to the demand.
At CPTM, the operation will be in a holiday scheme throughout Thursday (19). During the march to Jesus, the CPTM will maintain readiness trains to meet any unexpected increase in demand.
In the subway, there will be reinforcement of trains and increased staff in the seasons near the event. On Thursday (19), due to the march to Jesus, the attention will be focused on the Tiradentes, Carandiru and Santana stations, on line 1-Azul. They will have flow direction, special visual communication and sound notices to guide passengers.
