A namesake of the minister of the (Supreme Federal Court) was, according to,, illegally monitored by the group investigated for political use of (Brazilian Intelligence Agency) in management ().
According to the final report of the investigation, the man of name equal to that of the minister was researched at least three occasions through the Firstmille Spy software. He would be manager of a household articles store in Sao Paulo.
Investigations on “Parallel Abin” began from suspicions of the use of the system to spy on political opponents, journalists and STF ministers during the Bolsonaro government.
“The registration, for example, associated with the research of ‘Alexandre de Moraes Soares’ does not have any justification, leading to the plausibility of having been conducted 3 (three) research by the Homonym of the Hon.
The period quoted coincides with the beginning of the proceedings of the rapporteur of Moraes. The investigation was established in March 2019, and on May 14 Minister Luiz Edson Fachin released a appeal for the suspension of the inquiry.

The parallel structure would also have been used for Jair Bolsonaro in lawsuits, attacking the credibility of the electoral system and producing misinformation.
