A clandestine workshop for handcrafted weapons was discovered by the Military Police on Wednesday night (18), in the Belo Jardim II neighborhood, in Rio Branco. A 16 -year -old girl was seized at the scene, where drugs, ammunition and equipment used to assemble home weapons were also found.
The action began when a team from the 2nd Battalion Tactical Force was routinely patrolling on Socibene Street and came across two children playing alone on the public road. Due to the time and little light, the police decided to accompany the minors until the nearby apartments, where they claimed to live.

During the displacement, the military felt a strong odor of marijuana from one of the real estate. As they approached the window, they noticed a boy with a handcrafted weapon next door. The approach was immediate, and the teenager was detained.
In the magazine to the apartment, police seized 58 crack stones hidden behind a tile on the wall, a portion of cocaine inside a pot, drug package material and a computer. The minor stated that he paid $ 3,000 for the gun and said he used it to protect himself. He also said that the property worked as a clandestine tattoo clinic.
Then the garrison decided to inspect a neighboring, apparently abandoned and without electricity apartment. At the scene, the police found a makeshift structure for assembling weapons, with welding machine, grinder, iron tubes and other specific tools.

In all, two complete handcrafted weapons were seized, a firearm simulacrum, assembly weapons, 14 9 mm caliber ammunition, a .380 caliber ammunition, as well as drugs, stuffing materials and manufacturing equipment.

The teenager, who already has theft and is investigated for involvement in a murder, was seized and taken to the Flagrant Police Station (Defla), along with all the material found.
