The 33rd edition of gathered thousands of faithful on Thursday (19), in São Paulo, with the participation of political and religious authorities. The state governor, Tarcisio de Freitas (Republicans), sang the “1,000 degrees” praise on the main electric trio and was honored with prayers and congratulations on his 50th birthday. The walk began around 10am, with concentration on Avenida Tiradentes, region of Light Station, and goes to Heroes Square of the Brazilian Expeditionary Force, in the North Zone, where gospel music shows are scheduled. Organized by the Renascer Church in Christ, the march was attended by religious leaders and politicians from different parties. The mayor of São Paulo, (MDB) participated; the Minister of the Supreme Court (STF); the president of the PL; The president of the PSD; the mayor of Sorocaba, Rodrigo Manga (Republicans); and the attorney general of the Union, who represented President Luiz Inacio Lula da Silva (PT), absent from international commitments.
During the event, André Mendonça led a public prayer, and Tarcisio and Nunes were honored by the organizers. In his expected speech for early afternoon, the governor highlighted the importance of faith and unity among Christians. Tarcisio’s agenda on the march extends until 15h.
