Trump says he signed a decree extending deadline for Tiktok’s sale in the USA

(Reuters)-United States President Donald Trump said on Thursday that June 19 for the China-based Bytedance to be disqualified from Tiktok American assets.

“I just signed the decree that extends the deadline for closing (business involving) Tiktok for 90 days (September 17, 2025),” he said on the social network Truth Social.

This is the third time Trump advances the application of a Tiktok ban in the US determined by the US Congress, which should come into force in January.
