Rosa Maria Leitão Godoi, 33, six months pregnant, was the victim of physical assault on the night of Thursday (19) in Rio Branco. She was attacked with slaughter blows by her own sister.
The case happened in an apartment where Rosa Maria was with her sister and brother -in -law. According to the victim’s own report, the two sisters fell out and began to argue. During the conflict, her sister armed with a slaughter and began to assault Rosa Maria. To avoid more serious injuries, the pregnant woman managed to escape and asked for help at a motorcycle taxi drivers, located on Gavião Street, in front of the Roney Meireles Primary Primary Care Reference Unit (URAP), in the Adalberto Sena neighborhood.

The motorcycle taxi drivers, sensitized by the situation, called the Mobile Emergency Care Service (Samu), which sent a basic support ambulance. After the first calls on site, the medical team, when evaluating the pregnant woman’s clinical condition, decided to refer her to Barbara Heliodora maternity, where she will undergo detailed examinations, as she had severe pain in the abdominal region.
The Military Police were not called to meet the occurrence and, so far, the case has not been registered by the Civil Police.
