Left 3 children. Cuoco had been away from soap operas since 2020, when he made his last participation in “Save who can”.
With over 60 years of career, Cuoco marked generations with iconic roles in soap operas, miniseries and movies. Was protagonist of national dramaturgy productions as “Pedra jungle”, “The star” e “Wonder Bean”. It was one of the most popular faces of Brazilian television from the 1970s to 1990s.
Francisco Cuoco was born in Rio de Janeiro and graduated in law. He began his artistic career on stage before migrating to television in the 1960s. He participated in the founding of the Young Theater. His striking voice and the scenic presence prominent him in films and periods of the period.
Cuoco had discreet political performance behind the scenes of the artistic class, advocating better working conditions for actors and the appreciation of national dramaturgy. Received honors from institutions such as AEA.
The funeral will be held on Friday (20.Jun) at Funeral Home, in São Paulo. The ceremony will be open to the public. Already the burial will be reserved with family and friends.
