Sardinha’s sardine fishing will be banned in the Algarve between Saturday and Monday, according to a note from the Directorate-General for Natural Resources, Safety and Maritime Services (DGRM).
The period of interdiction of sardine fishing applies “in the area of jurisdiction of the captaincies of the ports of recognition of the Olhospa and Barlasces, for 6:00 pm on Saturday (June 21) at 18:00 on Monday (June 23)-Captains of Olhão, Faro Tavira, Vila Real de Santo António, Lagos and Portimão”, reads in the document.
