The aircraft, designed to resist nuclear attacks and serve as a command center in war emergencies, flew from Louisiana to Andrews air base. Despite speculation, military sources claim to be a routine operation.
One of the American Air Force Boeing E-4 this week made a scale on a base close to Washington, which has made the escalation of tension with Iran, will be related to an attack on that country.
Boeing, known as the ‘End of the World Airplane’ or ‘Flying Pentagon’, flew on Tuesday from the state of Louisiana to the Andrews Air Base, around the federal capital, which serves as a starting point for the long-distance flights of the US President, according to ‘Air Tracking Sites’.
The operation triggered speculation about preparations for a climb of violence between the United States and Iran, a country that US President Donald Trump said he was considering attacking to prevent the process of creating a nuclear bomb from completing the process of creating a nuclear bomb.
The e-4, a highly modified version of the Boeing 747, serves as the Air Operations Center for the President, the Secretary of Defense and the Armed Forces Set Staff, in a war emergency scenario that includes nuclear attacks.
Theoretically, E-4 is able to resist atomic explosions, attacks with electromagnetic impulse waves or cybers.
The plane, which can be replenished from fuel on the flight, was technically designed to stay on the air for an entire week.
The aircraft “provides a command, control and communications with high survival capacity to direct US forces, execute emergency war orders and coordinate the actions of civil authorities,” the Air Force explains.
The Stope Flights Internet Site assured that the E-4 that landed at the Andrews military base flew the next day to the state of Nebrasca and that a military source ensured that it was a “routine operation”, not related to the situation in Iran.
