A missing goal by Lionel Messi defined Inter Miami’s 2-1 win over Porto on Thursday afternoon at Mercedes-Benz Stadium in Atlanta. The US team surprised the Portuguese and put themselves in the fight for the classification of the round of 16 of the Club World Cup.
After two rounds, Group A is led by Palmeiras, which has four points and takes advantage over Inter Miami only in the goal balance. Porto has a point, as is Al Ahly.
