At a very complex point of the legislature, with a PSOE deeply touched by the alleged linking of and one of the parliamentary allies, the leader of IU, Antonio Maíllo, recognizes the seriousness of the moment and claims to the Government to take actions. The draft of the political report that the federal coordinator of the party will present on Saturday before his leadership demands forcefulness in the revelations of alleged crimes of corruption, but also asks for “leaving the regret” and taking a “bold” turn to the left.

“They are currently higher than ever,” says the president. “It is a problem of the PSOE, but it also challenges organizations that we are part of the government – although it is not a problem of corruption that touches it – and the organizations that support it. We all feel questioned,” he adds.

For the leader, who believes that the “scourge of corruption” can “destroy with democracy”, “there can be no more delay in an exit to this crisis”, in which the socialists, he says, will have to “decide if they accelerate a bold political action.” In the text, Maíllo refers to the approach of “democratic regeneration urgency standards that expect their approval” and also “fight against corruption that give solid signals that the government is committed without a macula of doubt or suspicion.” The party presented last Monday a document with 35 measures to transfer to the rest of the Add formations, partners in Congress and also to the PSOE.

“These should be added other social measures linked to housing, which break the timorarate roof of not intervening in the market, as well as the refusal to accept an increase in military spending and rearma policy,” says Maíllo.

“LEFT UNIDA considers that, explanations beyond those offered so far and convert this outrage in political initiative,” claims the leader, for whom there is “a before and after”, in the coalition after the publication of the UCO report that relates Santos Cerdán to the management of bites in the hiring of public works.

“IU wants to push so that measures are already taken in confrontation with the deep state and the bipartisan temptation,” says the party coordinator, who also announces that the party will establish an interlocution calendar with the government forces and with whom they make up the investiture pact to expose its proposals.

“The interlocution of IU is represented by IU, and the decisions are made in the organization itself and not in any non -organic institutional space, which in any case must transfer the political position of our organization and not vice versa,” he warns internally, claiming its role and marking limits to the function that other leaders can perform, such as Vice President Yolanda Díaz. “We must evaluate an unstable and news situation daily, with the maximum cohesion and coordination in all its organizational, parliamentary and government terminals,” concludes the document.
