Rains in RS kill 3 and leave more than 4,000 homeless

In all, 98 municipalities have reported damage or complications caused by temporal. The municipality of Jaguari decreed a state of public calamity, while another 8 are in emergency: Dona Francisca, Cerro Branco, Acute, Nova Palma, Cruzeiro do Sul, Passa Sete, São Sebastião do Caí and Cacequi.

Security teams have already rescued 552 people and 125 animals in risk areas. A new bulletin with the update of the situation in the state should be released at 18h of this Friday (20.jun).

O (National Institute of Meteorology) Intense rains in Rio Grande do Sul until 10 am this Friday (20.Jun). According to the newsletter, there is a risk of cutting electricity, falling tree branches, flooding and electrical discharges.

Rainfall preparation
