Anyone who has neglected the oven cleaning at least once knows how annoying it can be crushing. Exactly – scrubbing. So it turns out when you do not clean the oven regularly. And it should be acknowledged that few clean the space between the glasses on the door. Usually we clean them from the outside and from the inside, but the dirt is not only set there. However, there is one handy trick that will make your work easier.
Many people still postpone cleaning the oven for later. And then they have to face burns and dried dirt. Therefore, it is important to clean the oven regularly and save a long and tiring scrub. While the grate and sheets can be removed and soaked in water with the addition of chemical agents, thorough cleaning of the oven door can already cause problems. When cleaning them, we focus on the indoor and outer glass. However, fat and other dirt accumulate in the space between them. Today we will advise you on how to effectively clean the space between the pipes with minimal force. It’s easier than you think.
How to effectively clean the oven? Smart trick to shiny glasses
First, make sure the oven is cold – Burning before work is not pleasant and can effectively discourage you from the next procedure.
- If you are sure that you do not burn, prepare a large towel or cloth and spread it on the worktop.
- Also prepare a bowl with warm water with the addition of detergents as well as a long and relatively thin object, eg. Handle handle or long wooden spoon or scoop and one smaller cloth or old towel.
How to do it:
Open the oven door wide. There will be small metal fuses on the hinges. Lift them up and then carefully close the oven door so that they are approximately 40-30 degrees at an angle. Now you can easily remove the oven door. However, be careful because they can be quite difficult.
- It is worth noting that some pipes have a door with a removable safety rail at the top – In this case, you can easily get into the space between the glass without the need for removable doors.
- There are also pipes from which you can completely remove the glass – In this case, cleaning should not cause any problems. Unfortunately, most pipes do not have removable moldings at the top. To clean them thoroughly, you must dismantle them.
Place the removed door on the towel. Now wash the glasses from both sides and wipe it dry. Soak a smaller cloth in a cleaning agent and wrap it with a wooden tablespoon (or other long object). Fasten the cloth with elastic bands to prevent it from slipping. Now turn the door so that you have the lower part where the hinges are. In most pipes there is a hole or a wider gap that separates the windshield from the rear.
Carefully insert the spoonful of a spoon wrapped with a cloth between the glasses and thoroughly clean. Rinse the cloth several times, then replace it with a paper towel and wipe it dry to prevent stains from creating. When the door is completely clean, put them back and secure the hinges.
This simple trick should be known to anyone who uses the oven. From now on, you don’t have to worry about unexpected control from the mother -in -law – Even if this honor affects you, you will be sure that your oven is perfectly clean and your weighted mom will be gently jealous that it has not come to it earlier.
What to remember?
- When cleaning the oven, do not just concentrate on the door – The interior and grate are equally important.
- Also, remember that when cleaning with chemicals, work in rubber gloves – Your hands will be grateful for that.
- If you have children or animals, be extremely careful And always keep chemicals in places that are not available for children and pets.
