Siegfried Merzbacher’s most famous invention was called Doramad: a radioactive toothpaste that-enriched with small quantities of thorium-provided brilliantly white teeth from the 1920s and was also popular with the soldiers of the German Wehrmacht. Manufacturer and distributor of the toothpaste, which according to the prospectus also helped against bacterial inflammation, was the auer society, for which the German chemist Merzbacher worked in the interwar period.
