The falling balloon had a 6 meter wide basket and could carry up to 24 people. This Saturday’s accident involved 21 people. Of them, 8 died. Another 13 survived, including the pilot.

ACCIDENT
The accident took place around 9:30 am, when a Located in the basket of the aircraft caused a fire. The pilot reported that, upon noticing the flames, he instructed the passengers to jump as the balloon approached the ground.
