Research points out that 52% of national companies have a positive perception of AI in the work environment

Study points out that Brazilian bets on and, from entrepreneurs in Latin America, is what believes most in the tool. The data were collected from SAP’s “Artificial Intelligence”, which points out that 52% of nationals have a positive perception of the resource. Day after day, AI has been established as one of the main motors of transformation in the corporate universe. The feature impacts not only companies’ internal processes, but also the way they relate to their customers and innovate in the market.

“AI allows you to reduce costs, increase productivity and even create more attractive business models. It is a direct efficiency leap with direct impact on companies competitiveness,” says Ricardo Portela, business director of Genoa Performance, a company that integrates natural intelligence agents to transform organizational processes.

Another SAS survey, one of the largest technology companies in the world, reports that this year, AI has become a priority for 67% of Brazilian companies. Also, according to a Bain & Company survey, increased productivity and financial growth among companies that already adopt the general was proven.

Even in belief, Brazil is land with obstacles

Even with the advances, the Brazilian scenario still imposes challenges. Many companies, especially medium and small, face low digital maturity and difficulties in finding qualified AI professionals. Added to this is a corporate culture that often expects external validation before adopting technological innovations, which can curb infrastructure and innovation investments.

Nevertheless, Portela observes a change in course. “Brazil has niches of excellence and has gradually advanced. Many companies are experimenting, which shows that the acceleration curve is beginning. Competitive pressure and the popularization of more affordable solutions tend to further boost this movement in the coming years,” he says.

For Jayro Navarro Junior, engineer and business consultant who has been operating for 34 years in the IT and Telecommunications sector, there must be limits. “Of course I am a native advocate of technology, but I still believe in human material. I believe so much that, as everything in life, it is necessary to have common sense. Using IA to optimize processes and organizing protocols can be beneficial, but wanting to automate everything is, at least, it is up to each entrepreneur to dose as far as the burden and bonuses go and understand that, as society, we must value the connections between us. AI must work for the entrepreneur and not the other way around. ”

Still seen as a support tool by organizations, I was expected to soon become central part of corporate strategies. “Artificial intelligence goes beyond automation. It will be an indispensable competitive differential for those who want to grow sustainably in the new business scenario, with clear and defined limits and objectives,” concludes Portela.
