A prisoner evaded this Friday from the Sintra Prison, while performing painting work, a source of the Directorate-General for Reinsertion and Prison Services (DGRSP).
The prisoner was painting the walls of the Rumos building, next to the school of the Sintra Prison, open regime, in the Lisbon district, when he “stole the surveillance of prison guards and evaded,” DGRSP said in a statement.
