In a press release, Martins states that the opening of an inquiry against a lawyer who “did nothing more than well and properly exercise his client’s defense” would represent an attempt to silence the defense, which “will not be admitted in a democratic society.”
With this, the OAB should follow the inquiry and verify if there is abuse of authority or any violation in the right to exercise the law.
