Ukraine President Volodymyr Zelensky said in his Rede X account that Russian leader Vladimir Putin is trying to prolong the Iranian regime to earn more time for “his own madness and the murder of thousands.” Zelensky expects US President Donald Trump to realize this and said an answer is necessary.
Zelensky thanked those who give Ukraine diplomacy advice, but argued that it was Russia who rejected past proposals of peace, citing American, Chinese, Brazilian, African and Indian initiatives. “It is Putin who speaks openly to the world about which cities he threatens and which nations he says do not exist.”
For the leader of Ukraine, Putin makes staging for the US. “He wants Ukraine, but not since 2014, he wants before that,” he said in the publication.
