The pollen of the strongest allergen of this period – grasses from the family of the lipnicular dominates these days in the air throughout Slovakia. Its daily concentrations, depending on the weather, increased. Cooling and storm activity locally contributed to lower concentrations of pollen and spores in the air It brought slight relief to allergy sufferers. This was stated on Wednesday in connection with the current pollen situation by Janka Lafférsová from the Regional Public Health Authority in Banská Bystrica.
The highest concentrations of grass pollen from the family of the lipnicular were captured by monitoring stations in Žilina, Nitra, Trnava and Banská Bystrica. The pollen spectrum was supplemented by woody plants from the pine tree family, the pollen of the oak, chestnut, pajase, acacia, bases, linden trees, fucked, astrum, mris, early and juice.
“The pollen of the Lipnic family will continue to be dominated in the air. Daily concentrations of conifers of the conifers of the pine trees will also fall in colder areas of northern and central Slovakia. Overall, daily pollen levels will drop. The pollen of grasses and herbs gradually acquires dominance. Daily pollen levels of grass pollen will rise throughout the area of the family of the lipnitus, dwelling, early and juice, ” Lafférs said, adding that due to cooling and storm activity there will be considerable regional differences in the quantity of pollen and spore in the air.
