The documentary, launched on Saturday (21), was produced during a caravan promoted by the Legislative Assembly of Acre (Aleac), with the objective of showing the precarious conditions of the main highway in the state.
Along the way, in addition to the large craters, the entourage formed by deputies, authorities and representatives of public agencies has stopped in various parts practically destroyed by erosion.

Caeté River Bridge: interdicted and in reform
One of the stop points was the Caeté River Bridge, near the municipality of Sena Madureira. The structure was banned due to ground movement problems and will therefore undergo reform. To ensure vehicle traffic during the works, a provisional metal bridge was installed.

“This is an emergency work. We will build a provisional pillar, with a period of execution of about four months. The planned investment is approximately $ 14 million. If God willing, in October the vehicles will be passing by,” explained Ricardo.

According to the superintendent, the definitive solution for the BR-364 will be the complete reconstruction of the highway, using hydraulic macadam technology-a method consisting of compaction of crushed stones with agglomerants, ensuring greater durability.
“The problem is the high cost. With the resources we have today, we would only be able to recover between 40 and 60 kilometers. If the proposal of Deputy Nicolau Júnior Avance, we will accelerate the bid in Brasilia to start as soon as possible to the works,” he added.

After the bridge survey, the entourage went to Tarauacá, where parliamentarians discussed the necessary investments for the highway.
Deputy Nicolau Júnior, who led the caravan, reinforced the appeal to the federal government.
“This BR is a dream of Acre. It is in very bad conditions. Our goal here is a request for relief. We need that the federal government anticipates this bid for reconstruction. The federal bench also needs to help us. We are all united, but without resources we will not be able to do anything. This is a struggle of all: the political class and the population, to ensure a less expensive life to those who depend on BR-364,” said the president of Aleac.

Trucker reports suffering on the road: “Two days for a route that should last one”
One of the most striking testimonials recorded by the team of ContilNet It was the trucker of Ceará Édson Alves de Lima, with over 20 years of experience on the roads.

Direct impact on the economy: damage to entrepreneurs and consumers
The businessman Edivaldo Nascimento, representative of the Honda group in the region, also shared the difficulties faced by those who depend on BR-364 for the transportation of goods.
With two decades of acting in Acre, Nascimento revealed that the bad condition of the road has caused serious damage.

“The motorcycles come with damage because of the holes. It is virtually impossible to receive a cart without at least half a dozen damaged bikes. This generates huge damage to the company,” he said.
He also pointed out that the bad conditions of the highway directly affect consumer prices.
“The profit is already much lower. If we reduce losses, we have been able to improve sales conditions for customers and reduce costs to the local population,” he concluded.
Deputies make manifesto in favor of BR
At the end of the caravan, the state deputies held a collective manifesto in defense of BR-364. The document, signed by all the parliamentarians present, was sent to Brasilia as an urgent appeal for the highway’s recovery work to be prioritized.

The manifesto represents the union of efforts between the Acre Legislature and other authorities in favor of the state’s mobility, safety and economic development.
The event ended with a breakfast on Friday morning at the Southern Cruise Commercial Association. During the meeting, participants discussed the next steps and reinforced the mobilization in defense of BR-364, considered vital to Acre.
