According to the American press, the bombings were attended by B-2 Spirit stealing aircraft, which would have released “bunker destructive bombs” to penetrate Fordow’s underground defenses. Unofficial sources indicate that six bombs were used against this installation.

The attack occurs after more than a week of air clashes between Israel and Iran. The Israeli military had already announced offensive to weaken the Iranian nuclear program and now have the direct military support of Washington.

Trump indicated that the attacks should not continue, but made it clear that Iran should “stop immediately” or face new actions. “Now is the time of peace,” he said. So far, the Iranian government has not officially commented. A state TV commentator, however, said that US citizens and military personnel in the region became “legitimate targets.”
