Attack on Iran’s nuclear installations announced by Trump was preceded by take -off of airplanes that carry a weapon
The US attack on Iran’s nuclear facilities, announced on Saturday (21.Jun.2025), was preceded by B-2 bombers’ takeoff from a Missouri State Military Base.
These aircraft, which displease radars, can carry a type of airship weapon capable of drilling and destroying bunkers to tens of meters deep: the GBU-57 a/b pump.
The GBU-57 A/B is 14 tons and 6 meters long. The Massive Ordnance Penetrator (MOP) acronym means, in free translation, massive artillery penetrator. It can reach 60 meters deep. It is one of the most powerful non-nuclear weapons that exist. It has an estimated cost of US $ 3.5 million per unit.

Israel began military operations in Iran on June 13. Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s government says it tries to destroy nuclear facilities used by the Persian country to build an atomic bomb.
The operations have reached some of the targets, but one of them, in particular, is quite protected. This is the nuclear facility of Fordow, about 95 km from the capital Tehran. This was one of the places attacked by the US, according to US President Donald Trump. “Fordow was already,” Trump wrote on his social truth network.
Iran publicly recognized its existence in 2009. It is on a mountain slope, tens of meters deep. That is why Israel asked for help from the US as it does not have weapons capable of penetrating the soil at the depth hit by the GBU-57 A/B.
