Israel has “a variety of goals” in Iran, a spokesman for Israel’s Defense Forces (IDF) said on Sunday, noting that the IDF continued their military offensive in the country after the United States launched attacks on Iranian nuclear facilities at night.
“We have plans and goals and we constantly work to reach them. We are also preparing for the campaign’s extension,” IDF spokesman Effie Defie said at a press conference.
Israel still has a “variety of goals” in Iran, he added, without specifying what they are.
He said IDF is “examining” the results of US bombing in an important Iranian nuclear installation and that Israel is “constantly examining and investigating the situation” in the installation of nuclear enrichment from Fordow, Iran, which was hit by the US in his attack, along with the facilities of Natanz and Isfahan.
“Our coordination with the American partner has been close over the years and has become even closer recently,” said Defrin. “At the same time, Israel’s defense forces (IDF) continue to attack Iran.”
